Jean Hellwege

Jean Ann Hellwege, 73, of Sikeston, Mo., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, June 25, 2011, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born May 3, 1938, in Cape Girardeau, to Paul and Linda Loos Peetz. She and Wilford Hellwege were married Sept. 28, 1963.

Hellwege was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy (Ed) Renaud and Theresa Hill of Cape Girardeau; and a sister, Judy Peetz of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to service time Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Loren Boettcher officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
