Jean Marie Haskoor, 77, of Jackson passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014, comfortably in her home.
She was born Oct. 26, 1936, in Paterson, New Jersey, an only child, to Thomas and Mary Margaret Evans Jr.
She graduated from high school in Paterson.
Jean was a competitive rifle marksman before she married Carl Henry Haskoor May 5, 1957. He died Feb. 14, 2003.
She worked side by side with her husband in the dry cleaning business.
In her spare time, Jean enjoyed embroidery, playing cards with her friends and family, reading, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Jean was loved by all who had the honor of her friendship.
She is survived by four children she loved dearly, Arthur (Suzanne) Haskoor of New Egypt, New Jersey, Chris (Gregory) Gibson of Jackson, Mary (Mark) Dominick of Hillsborough, New Hampshire, Mark Haskoor of Pompton Lakes, New Jersey; and seven grandchildren she lovingly adored, Gregory Gibson, Ryan Gibson, Matthew Gibson, Angelique Dominick, Lucas Dominick, Thomas Haskoor, Jacob Haskoor.
Services will be held at a later date in New Jersey and Florida.
Arrangements were by McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
