DONGOLA, Ill. -- Jean Hartline, 66, of Dongola died suddenly Thursday, May 1, 1997, at Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born Oct. 19, 1930, in St. Louis, daughter of John and Elma Irene Ferguson Rowe. She and Elmer C. Hartline were married Dec. 24, 1947. He died March 20, 1994...

DONGOLA, Ill. -- Jean Hartline, 66, of Dongola died suddenly Thursday, May 1, 1997, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born Oct. 19, 1930, in St. Louis, daughter of John and Elma Irene Ferguson Rowe. She and Elmer C. Hartline were married Dec. 24, 1947. He died March 20, 1994.

Hartline was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Raymond Hartline of Dongola; three daughters, Linda Keller, Barbara Tucker and Sandra Kaufman, all of Dongola; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola after 5 p.m. Saturday, and Sunday until service time.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Raymond Oxford officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
