CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- Jean Ernst Hacker, 91, of Corpus Christi passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021.
Jean was born June 17, 1930, in Jackson to Ernst and Esther Hacker. He married his wife, Darlene Hacker, in 1956.
He graduated from Missouri School of Mines in 1952 and served in the U.S. Army from 1952-1954.
Jean was a loving father, son and brother, who enjoyed genealogical research and coin collecting. He will always be remembered for his deep devotion to family, his subtle sense of humor, and his caring and kind nature.
Jean was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Hacker; his father, Ernst Hacker; his mother, Esther Hacker Wagner; his stepfather, Richard Wagner; and his daughter, Kathy.
He is survived by his sister, Jane Wagner; son, Michael (Mirasol) Hacker; daughter, Susan (Jerry) Smith; and numerous grandchildren and cousins.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Jackson Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmie Corbin officiating.
