Jean Bozarth, 68, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, at the Lutheran Home. She was formerly of Dongola, Ill.
She was born May 25, 1936, in La Valle, Mo., daughter of Ernest and Laura Tucker Douglas. She and the Rev. Lucien Bozarth were married July 14, 1957, in Ware, Ill.
Bozarth retired as a corporate secretary for the railroad, started B&B Florist in Mounds, Ill., and had also been a school teacher. She was a member of Lynwood Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Teresa Holmes of Paducah, Ky.; two sons, Douglas and Timothy Bozarth of St. Louis; her mother of East Prairie, Mo.; a brother, Fred Douglas of East Prairie; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna, Ill., from 5 to 8 p.m. today, and Friday until time of service.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Nolan Smith and Paul Sadler officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery near Charleston, Mo.
