BELL CITY, Mo. -- Jean Alice Spillman Bonifield of Bell City, 83, passed away Friday, April 15, 2022.
She was an only child born to Eugene R. and Grace Henard Spillman of Cairo, Illinois, Oct. 17, 1938. She married Alfred Bonifield in 1959 and had three children before divorcing.
She graduated from Cairo High School in 1956.
Jean was a devoted homemaker, caring for her three children. She loved reading her bible, quilting, crocheting and baking.

Survivors include her son, Mike Bonifield of Bell City; two daughters, Cheryl (Paul) Simmons of Rochester, Indiana, and Susan (Dale) Todt of Jackson; and two granddaughters, Emily and Julia Todt of Jackson.
Memorial visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Missouri.
Memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
