CAIRO, Ill. -- J.D. Meisenheimer, 77, of Golden, Colo., died Monday, Aug. 6, 2001, at his home.
He was born July 18, 1924, in Cairo, son of Harold M. and Pearl B. Rendleman Meisenheimer. He married Barbara Gerstmann.
Meisenheimer was a retired ironworker and race car driver.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Judith Waldo of St. Paul, Minn.; and a sister, Mary Qualls.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, Ill., after 11 a.m. Friday.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Clifford Heil officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery near Dongola, Ill.
