MARBLE HILL -- Jay Lincoln, 63, of Marble Hill, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1992, at his home. He was born June 7, 1929, near Marble Hill, son of John William and Nellie Walker Lincoln. He and Genevieve Phelps were married Oct. 1, 1949. Lincoln was employed 41 years at International Shoe Co. in Jackson, and recently retired from Henschel Hat Co. at Sedgewickville. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and was a member of the Community Church near here...

MARBLE HILL -- Jay Lincoln, 63, of Marble Hill, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1992, at his home.

He was born June 7, 1929, near Marble Hill, son of John William and Nellie Walker Lincoln. He and Genevieve Phelps were married Oct. 1, 1949.

Lincoln was employed 41 years at International Shoe Co. in Jackson, and recently retired from Henschel Hat Co. at Sedgewickville. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and was a member of the Community Church near here.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Forrest Lincoln of Fredericktown, Kenneth Lincoln of Jackson, Carlin Lincoln of Des Arc; a brother, Paul Lincoln of Baldwin; a sister, Jean Eaker of Bonne Terre; a grandchild; 10 stepgrandchildren, and 10 great-stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Liley Funeral Chapel here. The Revs. Diana Cook, Charley Hovis and C.E. Henson will officiate, with burial in Baker Cemetery near Marble Hill.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
