Jason Mason

Jason Ray Mason, 43, of Cape Girardeau, passed away Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018, at Life Care Center.

He was born Feb. 13, 1975, in Brush, Colorado, to Ernest and Barbara Terry Mason.

Jason worked as an auto body mechanic for many years in Jackson and Cape Girardeau. He also had worked for Davis Glass Co. and Edgewater Glass Co. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Loving survivors include his mother, Barbara of Cape Girardeau; former wife, Mary Mason of Jackson; sons, Hunter and Dylan Mason of Jackson; and sister, Danetta Mason of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Joseph Ernest Mason; and sister, Andrea Dawn Mason.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Steve Koerner officiating. Burial will follow at McLain Chapel in Oriole.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Mason family.
