Janie Rayford, 79, of Cape Girardeau died Aug. 21, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 13, 1926, at Greenwood, Miss., daughter of Wesley and Minnie McFarland. She married Johnny Mack, who preceded her in death.
Rayford was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include seven sons, Robbie Rayford, Charles Rayford and Patrick Rayford of Cape Girardeau, James Mack of Dayton, Ohio, West Mack of Adrian, Mich., John Mack of Chicago, Bobby Mack of Phoenix, Ariz.; eight daughters, Dorothy Boyd, Johnnie Mae Bedell and Earnestine Mack of St. Louis, Bernice Mosley of Ardmore, Okla., Tiny Rayford of Wichita, Kan., Joyce Rayford and Leola Twiggs of Cape Girardeau, Izola Redman of Chicago; and several grandchildren.
Rayford was preceded in death by two sons, four daughters, two sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the New Bethel Baptist Church.
Funeral is at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Johnny Thomas officiating.
Internment will follow in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, with the Williams Funeral Homes of Charleston, Mo., in charge of arrangements.
