HOUSTON, Texas -- Janice Stafford, 76, was called home after a long illness Thursday, June 15, 2023. She was born Sept. 17, 1948.

She is survived by her daughter, Sonja Ford (Ron) of Marysville, California; and grandsons, Casey Musgrove (Diana and Taylor) and Dallas Wade Musgrove (Aliki and Theo) of Astoria, New York. Janice is also survived by her sisters, Brenda Narsh (Jodie Chappell and Jeffrey Narsh) of Conroe, Texas; Barbara Kitchen (Tatum Kitchen and Kory Kitchen) of Cape Girardeau; and Kitty Harding (C.S. and Walter Seabaugh and Mandy Rickett) of Montgomery, Texas.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, James Hurley Stafford and Vera Gertude Wilkerson; sister, Patricia Stafford; and brother-in-law, Terry Kitchen.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be sent in her name to National Kidney Foundation or American Legion Auxiliary Unit 560.

There will be a celebration of life from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 22, at American Legion Post 560 in Houston.
