Janice Louise Pind, 46, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Oct. 8, 1998, at her home.

She was born April 16, 1952, in St. Louis, daughter of Frank Hepfinger of St. Louis and the late Lita King Hepfinger.

On July 22, 1982, she married Michael J. Pind in Cape Girardeau. He survives.

She graduated magna cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis in 1971. She and her husband owned and operated Pindwood Kennel in Cape Girardeau County.

In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by two sons, Jay Robert Edward Click of Cape Girardeau and Matthew James Michael Click of Springfield; a daughter, Carly Michael Pind of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Joseph Hepfinger of St. Louis; two sisters, Mary Hepfinger and Kristy Stockell, both of St. Louis;

A brother preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.

Funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
