MOREHOUSE -- Graveside service for Janetta Othal Vandemark of Morehouse will be held at 10 a.m. today at Matthews City Cemetery in Matthews.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
Vandemark, 77, died Friday, Aug. 22, 1997.
She was born June 3, 1920, in Deering, Ark., daughter of James Calvin and Ollie Myrtle Griggs Appleton. She and Cleat D. Vandemark were married March 19, 1938, at New Madrid.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Ronald Vandemark of Morehouse; a daughter, Neva Williams of Cincinnati, Ohio; two brothers, Lloyd and Calvin Appleton of Tipton, Calif.; a sister, Hazel Parker of Porterville, Calif.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
