JANET JACO

DELTA -- Janet Jaco, 57, of Delta, died Tuesday, July 23, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 3, 1938, in Bell City, daughter of William Henry and Virgin Minnie Slinkard White. She and Paul Jaco were married Feb. 14, 1969.

Jaco retired as a certified nurse aide at Chaffee Nursing Center. She was a member of General Baptist Church at Chaffee.

Survivors include her husband; four sons, James Lankford of Jackson, Allen Lankford of Bloomfield, Dean Lankford of Chaffee, David Lankford of Delta; a brother, Edward White of Chaffee; six sisters, Mary Dennis, Maude Taylor and Marjorie Jobe of Chaffee, Martha Standridge and Carol Morris of Sikeston, Camille Crumbaugh of Springfield, Ill., and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jack Hargraves officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
