PERRYVILLE, Mo. — Janet Lynne Casper, 66, of Perryville, formerly of Jonesboro, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born June 17, 1956, to Lester and Sandra Brown Kreyling in St. Louis. Janet worked as a registered nurse at Saint Francis Medical Center. PERRYVILLE, Mo. — Janet Lynne Casper, 66, of Perryville, formerly of Jonesboro, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022, surrounded by her family.

She was born June 17, 1956, to Lester and Sandra Brown Kreyling in St. Louis.

Janet worked as a registered nurse at Saint Francis Medical Center. She loved being a grandma and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Diana Cox of Perryville and Christy Casper of Anna, Illinois; son, Adam (Katie) Casper of Decatur, Illinois; grandchildren, Brandon (Geri), Brett, Jody, Laura, Natalee, Brinlyn and Maddox; three great-grandchildren, Colton, Gavin and Ellie; four sisters, Julie (Bill) Spencer, Jennifer (Ronnie) Davis, Jayne Seeman and Jessica (Tim) Woodworth; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Stephen Kreyling.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial service will follow the visitation at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to National Kidney Foundation. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Crain Funeral Home.
