BENTON, Mo. -- Jan "Susie" Foster, 59, of Benton, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center at Sikeston, Mo.
She was born March 20, 1945, at Essex, Mo., daughter of Frank and Florence Oliver Cagle. She and James E. Foster Sr. were married Aug. 16, 1963, at Morehouse, Mo. He died Aug. 3, 1999.
Foster attended the Abundant Life Church at Gordonville and had been a bus driver for Scott County Central School District for five years.
Survivors include two sons, James "Eddie" Foster Jr. of Benton, Scott Foster of Portageville, Mo.; a daughter, Tammy Foster of Benton; two brothers, Sonny Cagle of Sikeston, Jerry Cagle of Lake Ivanhoe, Texas; a half brother Melvin Cagle of Matthews, Mo.; three sisters, Imogene Sullivan of Morehouse, Ilyene Wise of Newburg, Ind., Marrie Pullum of Evansville, Ind.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant brother and an infant sister.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel at Sikeston.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. at the chapel, with Jerry Cagle and the Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating. Burial will be in Unity Cemetery at Benton.
