Jamie Koch

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Jamie Elaine Koch, 48, of Chaffee passed away Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

She was born March 3, 1966, in Cape Girardeau, to Jimmy Eldon and Janie Ellen Thomure Mier. She and Robert Keith Koch were married June 21, 1986, in Chaffee.

Jamie was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee. She was a secretary at Girardeau Stevedores and Contractors Inc. in Scott City.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Koch of the home; parents, Jim and Janie Mier of Kelso, Missouri; a son, Kendall (Diana) Koch of Sedgewickville, Missouri; three daughters, Brittany (Chris) Ellis of Jackson, Stephanie Koch of Cape Girardeau and Lindsey Koch of the home; a granddaughter, Kolbie Koch; and two sisters, Missy Buckner of Scott City and Joy Corwin of Jefferson City, Missouri.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Parish rosary will be at 4 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ambrose Church, with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery in Chaffee.
