CHARLESTON -- Funeral service for James A. Wright Sr. of Charleston will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Bill Meeks will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until service time.

Wright, 46, died Monday, Dec. 1, 1997, in a trailer court west of Charleston.

He was born June 7, 1951, at Parma, son of James Thomas and Mary Jones Wright. He and Karen Moore were married July 26, 1988.

Wright was employed at Asgrow Seed Co. in Matthews, and had lived in Charleston most of his life.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, James Wright Jr. and Randy Wright; two daughters, Tammy Wright and Donna Haley; a brother, Adam Wright, all of Charleston; five sisters, Earline Williams and Bonnie Edwards of East Prairie, Donna Hartwick and Ruby Borders of Charleston, and Linda Terry, address unknown.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
