BLOOMFIELD -- Funeral service for James E. Williams of Bloomfield was held Monday at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home. The Rev. Greg Greason officiated, with burial in Memorial Garden Cemetery at Kennett.
Williams, 71, died Saturday, May 25, 1996, at Bloomfield.
He was born July 14, 1924, at Bloomfield, son of Benjamin F. and Leccy Ann Bolin Williams. He and Maxine Reynolds were married Aug. 18, 1995.
Williams was retired from General Motors in Michigan. He was a member of First Baptist Church here.
Survivors include two sons, James Williams of Lawrenceville, Ga., Jerry Williams of Flint, Mich.; two daughters, Beverly Robinson and Kathy Fusciante of Cape Coral, Fla.; two brothers, Melvin Williams of Bloomfield, Nelson Duncan of Rochester, Mich.; eight grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
