ADVANCE, Mo. -- James Charles Westbrook, 81, of Advance died Friday, April 4, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 21, 1926, in Advance, son of Elmer and Helen Malarky Westbrook.
Westbrook retired from the U.S. Navy as a chief petty officer and also retired from Sears.

Survivors include two sons, James Westbrook of Benton, Mo., and Patrick Westbrook of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
There will be no service.
Morgan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
