James Stuart Weber, 48, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014, at his home.
He was born Sept. 25, 1966, in Cape Girardeau, to James R. and Judith Ann Ruebel Weber.
Stuart attended Washington, Central Junior High and Central High School in Cape Girardeau. He was a painter, carpenter and a gardener of fruits, vegetables, boxwoods and flowers. He worked with the soil with God's hands upon his. He was a lover of animals, tame or wild. He also hunted on land and water.
Stuart leaves behind true friends along with the Weber and Gilliland families. Survivors include his parents of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Dale Rodney (Na'Cole) Weber of St. John's, Missouri; a sister, Kimberleigh Ann Weber of Fairmont City, Illinois; a nephew, Kenzel Weber; and two nieces, Alexis Alexandria Weber and Cheyenne Raquel Weber.
He was preceded in death by a nephew, Skylar Jeramiah Weber, who awaits for him at the side of Jesus Christ.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be L.R. Gilliland, Dean Beggs, Barry Petty, Paul Wissman, Mark Lineberry and Kevin Weber. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Randal and Dale Rodney Weber.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Red Cross or Salvation Army.
