MARQUAND, Mo. -- James Albert Watts, 53, of Marquand died Monday, Dec. 3, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 10, 1948, in Perry County, Pa., son of Clayton Pete and Mabel Alene Comp Watts. He and Shirley J. Frymire were married Dec. 31, 1968, at Lutesville, Mo.
Watts retired as an exterminator with Braford Pest Control at Silva, Mo. He had lived at Marquand since 1978. He was a member of McGee Chapel Church at Glen Allen, Mo., and Disabled American Veterans.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Darla Fincher of Patterson, Mo.; a brother, Boyd Watts of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Josephine Smeal and Gloria Capel of Pennsylvania; a stepgrandson; and a great-stepgrandson.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Mo., from 5-7 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the chapel. The Revs. Curtis Allen and Lloyd Green will officiate. Burial will be in Perry County, Pa.
