PUXICO, Mo. -- Henry "James" Sanders, 71, of Puxico died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000, at Three Rivers Healthcare in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
He was born Feb. 22, 1929, at Marston, Mo., son of Ben and Martha Wicker Sanders. He and Joyce Ann Gray were married Oct. 12, 1983, in Poplar Bluff.
Sanders was a retired farmer. He was a lifelong resident of the Puxico area.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Terry Townsend of Puxico; two daughters, Joyce Evelyn Jenkins of Dexter, Mo., and Angela Helton of Burfordville, Mo.; a brother, Roger Sanders of Dexter; a sister, Betty Wilemon of Montgomery City, Mo.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call at Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico after 12 p.m. on Monday.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Wiley McGhee officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
