MATTHEWS -- James Samuel "Jamie" Lewis, 21, of Matthews died Nov. 20, 1993, as a result of a car-train collision at the railroad crossing on Highway 80 in Matthews.

He was born June 10, 1972, in Dexter to the late Mark and Wanda Harbison Lewis.

He was a carpenter for Heartland Wood Products Company in Sikeston.

He attended New Madrid County Central High School and graduated in 1992 from Findlay High School in Findlay, Ill.

He is survived by a brother, Joe Santos of Sullivan, Mo.; one sister, Beth Gardner of Matthews; three grandparents, two nieces and several other relatives.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Nunnellee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Nunnelee Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Dudley, pastor of the Kewanee Missionary Baptist Church, officiating, with the Rev. Dick Mainord of Arlington, Ky., assisting.

Burial will be in the Matthews Cemetery.
