CAIRO, Ill. -- James J. Reed, 84, of Cairo died Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at Mount Vernon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mount Vernon, Ind. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. There is no visitation. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Spencer Heights Cemetery in Mounds, Ill., with the Rev.
