James McArthur Noel, 59, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born May 16, 1942, in Hermandale, Mo., son of Ernest and Mabel Bingham Noel.
Noel attended Southeast Missouri State University. He was a line machine operator in cold beverage canning, and attended St. Mary's Cathedral.
Noel was a radio operator in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his mother of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Larry Noel of Cape Girardeau, Jim R. Noel of Jackson, Mo., Roger Noel of Scott City, Mo.; two sisters, Betty Busher and Ernestine Swader of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
