James Mason

MARQUAND, Mo. -- James Mason, 40, of Marquand passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at his home.

He was born July 3, 1974, in Cape Girardeau, son of Joe Mason of Thebes, Illinois, and Mary Gast Lawrence of Jackson.

Loving survivors include his parents; a son, Vinnie Mason; a daughter, Stoney Mason; two sisters, Leslie Matlock of Tamms, Illinois, and Christie (Mike) Seyer of Dutchtown; a brother, Joseph Mason of McClure, Illinois; a niece, Amanda; and three nephews, Bobby, Bryce and Blayne.

He was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents; and stepmother, Gabbie Mason.

A graveside service will be at a later date. His parents or siblings may be contacted for memorial service date and time.
