CHAFFEE -- Funeral service for James Howard Mack of Chaffee will be held at 10 a.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton. The Rev. Bennie Wilsey will officiate, with burial in Oak Dale Cemetery at Commerce.

Mack, 25, died in an automobile accident Monday, March 3, 1997, near Chaffee.

He was born May 6, 1971, in Cape Girardeau, son of James Chester "Jim" and Martha Rhodes Mack.

Mack moved to Chaffee three years ago from Benton.

Survivors include his father of Benton; his mother, Martha LaVergne of Kiln, Miss.; three sisters, Vicki Garner of Jacksonville, Fla., Barbara Mack of Cape Coral, Fla., Angela Penrose of Chaffee; paternal grandmother, Pauline Mack of Jackson; maternal grandparents, Amy Surlet of Advance and Raymond Rhodes of Whitewater.
