James C. Lynch, 91, 304 N. Middle, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 1996, at his home.
He was born Aug. 17, 1905, in Cape Girardeau, son of James A. and Elizabeth Schlindwein Lynch. He and Ella Margaret Lewis were married Oct. 6, 1932, in Cape Girardeau.
Lynch was a maintenance worker at St. Francis Medical Center many years. He was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, James Lynch of St. Charles, John Lynch of Olive Branch, Miss.; a daughter, Elizabeth Mueller of Cape Girardeau; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, three sisters and five brothers.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau from 4-8 p.m. today, and Thursday from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
