ST. LOUIS — James Edward “Bay-Brother” Lewis, 68, passed with God on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016, in St. Louis. He was born Aug. 2, 1947, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, to the late Nig and Louella Lewis. He is survived by a son, James Carter; a daughter, LaQuita M. Lewis; three sisters, Ella Louise Ayers, Joyce Thrower and Marin Walker,; and two brothers, Walter Holman and Nathan Lewis...

ST. LOUIS — James Edward “Bay-Brother” Lewis, 68, passed with God on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016, in St. Louis.

He was born Aug. 2, 1947, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, to the late Nig and Louella Lewis.

He is survived by a son, James Carter; a daughter, LaQuita M. Lewis; three sisters, Ella Louise Ayers, Joyce Thrower and Marin Walker,; and two brothers, Walter Holman and Nathan Lewis.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 20 at Greater Dimension Ministries Church, 723 Hackberry St., Cape Girardeau.

A memorial service will be at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 20 at the church.

Arrangements were provided by St. Louis Cremation of St. Louis.
