SIKESTON -- James Leon "Jim" Hoskins, 55, of Sikeston, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 1994, at his residence.
He was born June 8, 1938, at Leachville, Ark., son of P.E. and Lela Watkins Hoskins.
He married Sue Unger, July 24, 1961, at Fisk, Mo.
Hoskins had worked as a pipe fitter for the Shell Oil Refinery at Wood River, Ill.
A resident of Sikeston for the past four years, he had previously resided in Dorsey, Ill., and East Alton, Ill. He was a member of The Church of Christ in East Alton.
Survivors include his wife; his parents of Leachville, Ark.; four daughters, Lisa M. Davis of Edwardsville, Ill., Sherree A. Hoskins of Raritan, N.J., Monica E. Barnett of Shipman, Ill., Jamie D. Hopper of Sikeston; three brothers, Bob Hoskins of Piggott, Ark., Danny Hoskins of Rector, Ark., Joe Hoskins of Paragould, Ark.; three sisters, Janice Martinez of Downing, Calif., Pauletta Parker and Brenda Matthews, both of Paragould, Ark.; and a grandson.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 Tuesday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, with the Rev. Ralph Buckley officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lulu Cemetery in Leachville, Ark.
