SIKESTON, Mo. -- James Alton Laseter, 58, of Sikeston died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, at his home.
He was born Sept. 19, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, son of James Franklin and Anna Helen Golightly Laseter.
Laseter was employed several years at Tetra Pak. He was a member of Miner Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Jim and Travis Perry of Delta; a sister, Betty Duncan of Sikeston; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. J.D. McClard officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
