James Lankford, 48, of Bloomfield, Mo., formerly of Delta died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005, at the Beverly Health Care Center in Bloomfield, Mo.
He was born Aug. 4, 1957, at Fort Worth, Texas, son of William James and Janet White Lankford. He married Sharon Tate.
Lankford was employed as a truck driver for Convanant Trucking. He served in the U.S. Army. Lankford was a member of the General Baptist Church in Chaffee, Mo.
Survivors include his wife of Park Hills, Mo.; three daughters, Jenny Lankford, Samantha Lankford and Marjorie Lankford, all of Park Hills; and three brothers, Allen Lankford of Bloomfield, Dean Lankford of Gray Summit, Mo., and David Lankford of Delta.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a stepfather.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, after 4 p.m. Saturday.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel. The Rev. Vyron Yount will officiate, with burial in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
