James "Jim" G. Kluesner, 57, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, July 9, 2016, at his home.
He was born June 7, 1959, in Cape Girardeau to Joe and Elizabeth "Betty" (Welter) Kluesner.
Jim worked at Southeast Hospital and Cardiovascular Consultants as a sonographer for many years.
He was a talented woodworker and a passionate St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Survivors include his father, Joe Kluesner of Cape Girardeau; a son, Zach (Alexandra) Kluesner of Columbia, Missouri; a daughter, Alli Kluesner of Jackson; five siblings, Marilyn (Mark) Proffer of Cape Girardeau, Roger (Mary Jo) Kluesner of Ames, Iowa, Geri (Brent) Beussink of Cape Girardeau, Dennis (Cecilia) Kluesner of Lawrenceville, Georgia, and Curtis Kluesner of Cape Girardeau; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother; a brother, Richard Kluesner; and Joanie (Collins) Kluesner.
Private family visitation and funeral Mass will be held today.
Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
