James Cooper Kinder, 58, of Edwardsville, Ill., formerly of Jackson, died Monday, March 4, 2013, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.
He was born Aug. 23, 1954, to the late Oliver "Ink" and Lucille Kinder.
Survivors include three children, Aliesha (Brenan) Graham, James Cortney Kinder and Morgan Brittney Kinder; a grandson, Braden Graham; seven sisters, Shirley Parsons, Mary Ann Lattin, Ethel Forman, Christina Terry, Vivian Sue Jones, Dora "Sissy" Kinder and Olive (Homer) White; and two brothers, Ronald (Christine) Kinder and M.B. (Paula) Kinder.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of service Saturday at Futrell Memorial Church of God in Christ in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, with Richard Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Williams Funeral Home of Charleston, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
