James retired after working 39 years for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kutis Afton Chapel, 10151 Gravois Rd. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with interment in Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
