James "Jay" Dolan, 60, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, March 26, 2000, at the Missouri Veterans Home.
He was born Aug. 4, 1939, in New Madrid County, son of Louis Patrick and Exia Taylor Dolan.
He was self-employed as an auto mechanic until retiring. He had served in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his mother of Cape Girardeau; a son, Michael Dolan of Kansas City; a stepdaughter, Susan Baker of Hot Springs, Ark.; a brother, Dennis Dolan of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Christine Clark of Granite City, Ill., and Sybil Bonds of Bourbonnais, Ill.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and a son.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. Burial will be at Union Park Cemetery.
