James "Ronnie" Jackson, 56, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, at home.

He was born July 20, 1952, at Sikeston, Mo., son of James Preston and Lovetta Justine "Tina" Alberson Jackson.

Jackson was a carpenter employed by Jeff Jackson. He belonged to Commerce Baptist Church and Servants of Savior International Ministry.

Survivors include three sons, James "Ronnie" Jackson II of Atoka, Tenn., Preston Jackson of Benton, Tim Beck of Sikeston; four daughters, Anita Hux of Essex, Tena Carlyle of Benton, Sarah Ramsey of Morehouse, Cassie Jackson of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Cecil Jackson of Koshkonong, Mo.; and 13 grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral is at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Commerce Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery in Commerce, Mo.
