EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for James Franklin Haley Jr. of East Prairie will be held at 10 a.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Pastor Richard Farquhar will officiate, with burial in Dogwood Cemetery.

Haley, 32, died Monday, Dec. 1, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born June 17, 1965, in East Prairie, son of James Franklin and Kathern Guthrie Haley Sr. He and Donna Moore were married Jan. 27, 1986.

Haley had lived in Mississippi County all his life, and was employed at Asgrow Seed Co. near Matthews.

Survivors include his wife of Charleston; two daughters, Candice and Frankie Haley of Charleston; his parents of East Prairie; two sisters, Kathy Johnson and Mary Ditto of East Prairie; and maternal grandmother, Vester Guthrie of East Prairie.
