BELLEVILLE, Ill. -- James Franklin Hale, 59, of Belleville, formerly of Scott City, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at Belleville Memorial Hospital.
He was born Feb. 5, 1961, in Cape Girardeau to Lloyd Lester and Mary Ann Owen Hale. He married Nancy Jo Braun on June 23, 2000.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He worked for Logistics--OHL.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Hale; a son, James Franklin Hale III of Belleville; two brothers, Larry Hale of Belleville and Guy (Lori) Hale of Scott City; two sisters, Rebecca (Scott) Wright of Gordonville and Sharron MacDonald of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Tommy and Russell Hale.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kevin Ropp officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be sent to American Legion, 200 Veterans Drive, Millstadt, IL 62260.
