Funeral service for James Harley Langston, 1457 N. Main, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Red Star Baptist Church. The Rev. Cy Smith will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Langston, 78, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1992, at his home.
He was born May 21, 1914, in Cape Girardeau, son of Rev. A.J. and Stella Mae Eakins Langston. He and Mary Evelyn Vancil were married Aug. 15, 1936, in Cape Girardeau.
Langston was a graduate of Central High School, and member of Red Star Church.
Survivors include a son, John Langston of Plymouth, Mich., and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
