Funeral service for James F. Brady, 1618 Oxford, will be held at 8:30 a.m. today in the Mausoleum at Memorial Park. The Rev. John Owen will officiate, with entombment in the mausoleum.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Brady, 77, died Monday, Feb. 27, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Feb. 21, 1918, in Orrick, son of O.J. and Gertrude Ogg Brady. He and Wilma Aubuchon were married Aug. 1, 1941, in Shreveport, La.

Brady graduated from William Jewell College. He served 21 years in the U.S. Army Air Corps, retiring in 1962. He was a navigator and bombadier during World War II, and received the Gen. John Pershing Award from Gen. Pershing.

He moved to Cape Girardeau in 1962. He became involved in the investment business and was still employed at A.G. Edwards. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Pat Thurman of Santa Fe, N.M., Carol Rose of Overland Park, Kan.; three brothers, Sam Brady of Garland, Texas, Don and Joe Brady Jr., addresses unknown; a sister, Sue Sanderson of Springfield, and three grandchildren.
