PARMA -- James Frank Edge, 93, of Parma died Tuesday, June 8, 1999, at the General Baptist Nursing Center in Campbell.
He was born July 10, 1905, in Guntown, Miss., son of William Lee and Linnie Parker Edge. He and Hattie Gadberry were married Sept. 22, 1929, in Lepanto, Ark. She died Jan. 20, 1998.
Edge had lived in Arkansas and had resided at Parma the past 64 years. He was a retired farmer and cafe owner. He was a member of First Baptist Church, was a Mason and had been a board member of the former Trammell School.
Survivors are a son, James Edge of Parma; two daughters, Lorine Dennington of Overland Park, Kan., Frances Fisher of Crossville, Tenn.; two sisters, Jeffie Hoskins and Viola Terry, both of Joiner, Ark.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma after 6 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Jody Duncan will officiate. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery at Dexter.
