SCOTT CITY -- James Emerson Vincent, 70, Scott City Route 1, died Monday, Sept. 23, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born June 1, 1921, at Greenfield, son of Wade and Atta Mae Mayberry Vincent. He and Virginia A. Glueck were married June 1, 1967, in Cape Girardeau.

Vincent had been a truck driver with various trucking firms. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church at Kelso.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jerry Vincent of Utah, Larry Vincent of Collins; a sister, Alien Willis of Mt. Vernon, and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Augustine Church. Msgr. John Westhues will officiate, assisted by the Rev. James Seyer. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home here after 4 p.m. today. The rosary will be at 8.
