James Henry Dietiker, 58, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at his home.

He was born Aug. 21, 1941, in Cape Girardeau, son of John and Sarah Pippin Dietiker. He and Mirjana Saksida were married July 17, 1997, in Chicago.

Dietiker attended May Greene School and Central High School. He moved to Los Angeles, Calif., where he was in the restaurant business and was a prop man for 20th CenBojan Saksida of Belgrade, Serbia; four brothers, Frank, John and Michael Dietiker of Cape Girardeau, Roy Lee Dietiker of Independence; four sisters, Betty Dietiker, Shirley Hutchason and Janet Amelunke of Cape Girardeau, and Teresa Elkins of Scott City.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the chapel. The Revs. Jim Matthews and S.S. Borum will officiate. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
