SIKESTON, Mo. -- James Davidson, 54, of Charleston, Mo., died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. He was born Oct. 2, 1949, at Cairo, Ill., son of Vance and Roberta Hickey Davidson. Davidson was employed as a truck driver until he retired in 2001. SIKESTON, Mo. -- James Davidson, 54, of Charleston, Mo., died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Oct. 2, 1949, at Cairo, Ill., son of Vance and Roberta Hickey Davidson.

Davidson was employed as a truck driver until he retired in 2001. He was a member of the Eagles Club No. 1679 of Sikeston and was a former member of the Missouri National Guard.

Survivors include one son, Vance H. Davidson of Crescent City, Fla.; three sisters, Kay Bowman of Bertrand, Mo., Sharon Underhill of Sikeston and Vanessa Glenn of Charleston.

He was preceded in death by one brother.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Funeral will be at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Jon Archie will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery.
