James A. Campbell, 89, of Overland, Mo., died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Mary Barenkamp Campbell; dear father and father-in-law of Nancy (Farris) Jackson and Robert (Tracy) Campbell; dear grandfather of Chris, Carolyn, Patricia, Andrew, Dylan and Emily; dear brother of Virginia Maule, Doris and Les Kobler and Margaret Eakes; our dear uncle, cousin and friend...
James A. Campbell, 89, of Overland, Mo., died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011.
He was the beloved husband of Mary Barenkamp Campbell; dear father and father-in-law of Nancy (Farris) Jackson and Robert (Tracy) Campbell; dear grandfather of Chris, Carolyn, Patricia, Andrew, Dylan and Emily; dear brother of Virginia Maule, Doris and Les Kobler and Margaret Eakes; our dear uncle, cousin and friend.
Jim retired from Shell Oil as a foreman in 1984.

He served in the U.S. Army.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ortmann Funeral Home in Overland.
The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
In lieu of flowers, donations to American Heart Association are appreciated.
