MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- James C. Trentham Sr., 83, of Marble Hill died Thursday, April 16, 2009, at Eldercare of Marble Hill.
He was born Jan. 12, 1926, at Sikeston, Mo., son of William C. and Gillie M Smith Trentham. He and Olive Ola Welker were married on June 28, 1947.
James had worked for FMW Chair Manufacturer and was a member of the Plainview Congregational Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Olive; two sons, James Trentham Jr. and Lonnie Dale Trentham, both of Marble Hill; one daughter, Wilda Bowen of Marble Hill; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Wilma Maxine; three brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2009, at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home chapel, with the Revs. Jimmie Fulbright and Ray Webb officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery near Marble Hill.
