MARION, Ill. -- James Russell Burnham, 54, of Marion died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, at the Carbondale Nursing & Rehab Center.
He was born March 1, 1947, in Marion. He married Norma Rushing. She survives at Ocala, Fla..
He was a member of the Living Waters Pentecostal Church in Metropolis, Ill. He had worked for the Massac Memorial Hospital Ambulance Service for several years.
He also is survived by a son, Craig Burnham of Ocala; two stepsons, Mike Rushing of Paducah, Ky., and Todd Rushing of Ocala; two sisters, Dorothy Hollenbeck of Marion and Mary Baker of Grand Chain, Ill.; two brothers, Bobby Burnham of Vienna, Ill., and Edgar Burnham of Ocala; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.
No visitation will be held.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the New Columbia Cemetery in New Columbia, Ill., in Massac County, with the Rev. Shane Baker officiating.
Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
