PERRYVILLE -- James L. Austin, 58, of Perryville died Saturday, Oct. 2, 1999, at the Perry Oaks Nursing Center at Perryville.
He was born Aug. 24, 1941, at St. Louis, son of James R. and Velma Safriet Austin.
He was a self-employed truck driver. He was a member of the Riverhills Eagle C.M.A. -- St. Mary's and was a member of the Perryville Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include three sons, James Paul Austin and Jason L. Austin, both of Perryville, and James Lee Austin of Linton, Ind.; a daughter, Dee Dee Moll of Perryville; a sister, Beverly Brewington of Perryville; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Miller Family Funeral Home at Perryville. Masonic service will be at 7 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Ervin Brooks will officiate, with burial to follow at the Home Cemetery.
